How do i get my partner to help me with redecoration of the kids room?

I need to redecorate the kids room, but i need to remove old furnature which i cant carry. I need to strip the wallpaper off the walls, replaster walls and paint them. Its alot to do. How do i get my partner to help with the redecoration? Hes seems so un-interested. It really does need a make-over badly.

3. Yes, It does sound like a lot of work to carry out YOUR ideas. Maybe he'd be a little more interested in the outcome if you let him make a few of the decisions or include any ideas he may have. Tell him you need his help not only with the hard labor involved but his ideas or visions and get excited together about bringing it all to life for yourselves and the kids.
4. She/he needs to get off their asses and make the effort. It's supposed to be for both yoiur kids, not just yours. He has responsabilities here.
5. Ask one of your male friends to do it. When your husband finds out, he'll feel inadequate and incapable. Out of jealousy he'll help out. Or he'll watch T.V. Who knows...
