baby cots?

im 4 months pregnant with my second child,with my first child we didn't use a cot for her to sleep in,we just used a portable cot,that was my husbands idea,i really wanted to get her a nice wooden one that i can put nice sheet sets and things in,and i thought a good mattress instead of a portable cot mat would be better for her.now should i go and buy and new wooden cot for this baby or just use what i used last time?

1. My husband and I just had our second child and we bought alot of new things when he had the old item as well. We ended up selling the new stuff and getting the old stuff out because of the sentimental value. As far as a better mat, maybe you could just buy a new mat for the old cot and save some money. 2. If you just want a bedside cot to use until your baby goes into her own crib, then I would suggest the Arm's Reach co-sleeper. My baby is 5 weeks old and it's worked out really well for us. It attached to your bed so when your baby cries you can just roll over and tend to her, instead of having to get up. I LOVE IT!
